ROME, ITALY – Lego rolled out its Colosseum, a 9,036 piece model of the Roman amphitheater. With a strict attention detail, Lego has included 58 disemboweled Christians, 34 syphilis ridden sex slaves, and 16 leprous beggars.
Further increasing the accuracy of the model is its use of paint pigmented with lead, cadmium, and other toxic heavy metals commonly used in the Roman Empire. However, the most prevalent historical accuracy is the use of marble with trace amounts of radium and xenon to induce lung cancer in frequent visitors.
The model is the largest produced by Lego to date. Their next model, scheduled for release in early 2021, is a 10,000+ recreation of the Number 4 reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It is rumored to permanently turn into a big 1 piece slag of plastic 72 hours after you complete assembly.
