WASHINGTON, D.C. / LONDON, ENGLAND – Key members of the classic rock band, The Who express outrage that the U.S. Government will no longer be funding them. President Trump announced that in FY 2019/2020 the U.S. Government funded the WHO nearly 500 million dollars and the government will investigate all options to cease this funding.
The President expressed confusion that the government would send funds to individuals worth 100’s of million dollars each. “These men are on a farewell tour, the best farewell tour of all their farewell tours ever. They sell out huge arenas all over this great nation.”, said the president at a daily press briefing.
The President recently became frustrated when it was brought to his attention that the WHO might have favored the People’s Republic of China at the expense of the United States. President Trump called out Pete Townsend, Roger Daltry, and John Entwistle as un-American and profiting on the back of middle class Americans.
The President quickly ended the press conference when it was pointed out that those three members of The Who were, in fact, citizens of the British Empire, and that John Entwistle passed away in 2002.
